Solutions
Tailored solutions for every energy need
Whatever your power needs, our engineering team will work closely with you to deliver tailored solutions. From design and assembly to ongoing support, we ensure our systems are not only efficient, but also scalable and adaptable.
With our extensive value chain and strong industry partnerships, we engineer customised methanol-powered gen-sets that meet exact specifications and are built using high-performance, proven technology.
As industry faces long delays for grid connections and increasingly stringent emissions regulations, methanol delivers grid compliant power today from both engines and turbines.
By burning methanol instead of diesel or other fossil fuels, you will significantly reduce carbon dioxide (CO2), carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen oxides (NOx), sulphur oxides (SOx), unburned hydrocarbons (UHC), and particulate matter (PM).
Our solutions
From containerised, easily transportable gen-sets to large industrial installations, methanol delivers power today, without the need for the costly refrigeration or pressurisation infrastructure required by other alternative fuels.
Island power
Methanol-based power enables Caribbean islands with secure, affordable, cleaner power delivered by either replacing ageing power infrastructure, by installing additional new generation capacity or by converting existing engines to run on methanol. By replacing traditional hydrocarbon fuels such as diesel, Marine Fuel Oil (MFO) or Marine Gas Oil (MGO), methanol delivers a lower-emission, liquid-fuel solution whilst protecting consumers against the price volatility of traditional fuels or LNG.
Power32 works with leading Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to convert existing power plants or to install new methanol-fuelled engines and turbines. We can deliver fully integrated solutions—covering design, engineering, procurement and construction, methanol supply and storage as well as powerplant operations. Projects can be structured with Power32 acting either as an Independent Power Producer (IPP) or as a developer and methanol fuel supplier to local utilities. These models enable islands to secure reliable power, reduce exposure to fuel price volatility, and transition to a future‑ready energy system with a credible, low‑disruption pathway to net zero.
Floating power
Methanol-based floating power provides rapidly deployable, utility-scale baseload electricity for regions facing capacity shortfalls, grid constraints, or urgent power requirements, including post-disaster response. By generating power offshore and delivering electricity directly from ship to shore, floating power allows governments and utilities to add reliable capacity quickly and efficiently, without the need for permanent onshore infrastructure.
Power32 designs and delivers integrated floating power systems using methanol-fuelled engines or turbines, selected to match local load profiles and grid requirements. Methanol’s liquid form and established global supply chains enable flexible shipping, storage, and use, while supporting cleaner combustion and lower local emissions. Methanol-based power operates efficiently across the full operating range and can respond effectively to changes in demand. Supported by long-term methanol supply and proven OEM technology, projects deliver reliable, cost-effective power and provide a scalable, future-ready solution that supports both immediate capacity needs and longer-term energy objectives.
Combined Heat and Power (CHP)
Methanol-based combined heat and power delivers rapidly deployable, high-efficiency, behind-the-meter energy for industrial sites facing constrained or unavailable grid capacity. By meeting continuous power and process heat demand from a single, stable fuel source, CHP unlocks immediate capacity where the grid cannot.
Power32 designs and operates integrated CHP systems that replace conventional boilers with methanol-fuelled turbines or engines, capturing waste heat to maximise efficiency and if required incorporating carbon-capture-ready technology. The result is a ready-now, scalable, and future-proofed energy solution—enabling customers to secure power today, protect investment decisions, and progress decarbonisation without reliance on grid reinforcement.
Datacenters
Methanol-based power delivers rapidly deployable, high-efficiency, behind-the-meter energy for datacenter sites facing constrained or unavailable grid capacity. By meeting continuous power demand from a single, stable fuel source, Methanol as Power unlocks immediate capacity where the grid cannot.
